I am reading a "winter" book. The Frozen Thames by Helen Humphreys. Each chapter is a snapshot of a year in the life of the Thames, but only when it froze, which isn't often. I suppose it did this year too. I love the surprises in this book.

Snowy morning
I love the snow laden branches of trees in winter. It's gives me a magical, bright world to live and walk in.
