Locust: forehead on floor, lift legs
Bow
Downward dog
Pigeon
Standing forward bend
Triangle

Do all postures for 5 deep breaths.
Savasana 5 minutes.

Heart of the desert


I've spent the week at the heart of the desert retreat in Arizona. With my Bright Path friends. Through laughter, play, meditation, our teacher's talks, super amazing food, and yes, sunshine, I've received many gifts.

Little yoga routine


A warming routine since spring still hasn't quite sprung:

Half dog at wall.
Push into wall as you stretch hips back.

Warrior 1

Warrior 2

Downward dog

Child's pose

Boat. Do this one three times :)

Seated twist. With legs in cow head pose if you'd like a variation.

Lie down in savasana and let your eyes sink down towards the back of the head.
Feel that Mother Earth comes from below to support your weight. Let go of all the shoulds and got to do stuff in your mind. Let everything be exactly as it is.

Little yoga routine

Spring is here!
There were seven, yes, seven fluffed up robins sitting in my birch tree this morning. They were looking dazed and cold. Where are the worms and grass?

Your routine for this week:
Eagle pose

Squat. It's good for you!

Downward dog

Pigeon

Seated twist

Savasana:
Visualize a full moon shining inside your head. The moonlight is spreading out, filling the space inside of you and all around you. Nothing stops the light, as it spreads to infinity. Dissolve the mind in that light.
