It seems that folks are way more relaxed here at Christmas then in Canada. And maybe I just don't really know. The shops are busy but people aren't frantic even on this last weekend before the big day. People aren't carrying tons of parcels and decorating in general is less. It seems quite sane. This is our last night with mum and tomorrow we are traveling to Sydney. There is a feeling of melancholy......has everything been said and done? The suitcases are packed and bulging. One more walk along the beach in the morning.
