Gardening as teacher

Today I had so much to do in the garden that at first I just stood there and wondered what to do. I felt it was important to see clearly before I started. To make a list. To have some plan for the day. And to admit to what I see. What's really going on here. Gardening has taught me to be realistic. Yep, I've made many mistakes. I have learned from gardening to just start with the most obvious task, and to keep on going. The day flowed.....flowered, hmm, are those words related?
