Thank goodness for rainy days

I slept 10 hours last night after my whole day of being out in the garden. And today it's been raining all day. Thank goodness! I have gotten so many things organized inside the house. I am working madly to get ready for my mom and her partner. They're arriving from Australia on Thursday and they are staying with me for the summer. Three months. We've all done it before, living together for three months, usually every few years. It's my mom, you know, got to get more cleaning done than I might do otherwise. I actually love making home or as Don has said - I can make a nest anywhere.
