Waiting

Felix has one of those days where he is waiting and watching. It's a sunny day and everyone seems busy. The mail person is rushing and she needs to be scolded for that rushing. Don is coming and going on errands. Buk, Felix's friend came for a visit and has left and Felix is waiting for his next adventure to come along. He loves the sun for the warmth and the sun for all the activity. I wonder what it would be like to wake up in the morning and be waiting, just waiting for the day to unfold without having to orchestrate it at all. I think I would call that a day off.
